Every year after Thanksgiving, the Hones get together in what we call "Gingerbread Weekend". We get a hotel, or this year we stayed at Mutual Dell, and we just hang out and make gingerbread houses and just have a good time. It was SUPER COLD up in the mountains! Luckily it didn't snow while we were there...or I would have been sad. I didn't take too many pictures, but here are our gingerbread houses. I'm not as creative as the rest of the Hones...but I think mine turned out cute. The boys get to make theirs out of graham crackers, and Brett had his "blue prints" made out for a few months ahead of time.

My cute little house

Brett's GIANT graham cracker castle!

Aidyn played in his stroller a lot since the floor wasn't carpeted and was cold. He had lots of fun though :)

Saturday I went to my parents ward party so Aidyn could sit in Santa's lap. I figure it's easier (and cheaper) than trying to go to the mall and stand in line for hours to get a good picture. I was worried he was going to fuss and cry, but we distracted him with a candy cane and he didn't cry at all! :) I don't think he knew who was holding him, because he didn't look up at Santa the entire time he was on his lap! I got some pics (this is the best one I could find), my parents took some, and a ward member was taking some, so hopefully we'll have a good one to put in his book.
Oh-Friday night Brett and I went to The Forgotten Carols. I LOVE that play! Brett and I first went when we were dating, and I decided to make it our yearly tradition. It was super good this year, and I got messages from the songs that I hadn't before. It is such a great show, and it makes a great start to the Christmas season, and makes me so grateful for the things I have in my life!
